Last 15th and 16th of May, in Piura, took place the fifth Conference of Red Agrícola of this city, in Peru. The conference brought together 604 attendees, 45 companies with stand and expert lecturers. The event attracted 20% more people than its previous edition and is becoming one of the most important annual events in the northern region of Peru.
Lectures were focused, above all, on enhancing the yield of table grape cultivation, on the integrated management methods for pest prevention, on physiology, atuomation systems, Big Data and blockchain. The table grape is the first crop in the region in terms of economic performance, followed by mango, organic bananas, sugar cane, and incipiently cranberry. The region of Piura is the second producer and exporter of table grapes of Peru, after Ica.
Futureco Bioscience attended the conference with its own stand and received many visits that showed great interest in its portfolio of plant nutrition and plant protection products of zero waste and suitable for organic farming. These products have a growing interest especially in export crops that arrive in countries with strict regulations on the importation of fruits and vegetables without contaminants, and with total guarantees of quality.
