CHARACTERISTICS:
Fitomaat is an organically certified biostimulant designed to overcome and recover from water stress conditions such as drought or extreme salinity. Its unique formula contains a high concentration of osmoprotectants, such as glycine betaine and proline, along with antioxidants that work synergistically to ensure photosynthesis levels and protein synthesis, maintaining growth and production. The active ingredients are also actively transferred to the plant’s sensitive organs, where they accumulate and produce a long-lasting effect.

GLYCINE BETAINE AND PROLINE
Glycine betaine and proline, the osmoprotectants in Fitomaat, are two important organic osmolytes that accumulate in a variety of plant species in response to water stress. These osmoprotectants act in synergy with antioxidants to counteract metabolic dysfunctions in plants under stress conditions.
They are actively transferred to the sensitive organs of the plant (fruits, roots, young leaves), where they accumulate, producing a long-lasting effect, protecting the photosynthetic machinery and preventing premature cracking and fruit drop.
