On Friday April 17, at the gala Night of the Company, the Association of Companies of Garraf, Alt Penedès and Baix Penedès, ADEPG, gave awards in different categories, including the referent company in internationalization, delivered to Futureco Bioscience for the quality and effort of its international expansion during 2014, when the company opened eight technical offices in America with a philosophy of adaptation and collaboration with national and local organizations.
The internationalization category was sponsored by Sage and picked by Thomas Martinez, Head of Business Development and Product Manager of the Spanish biotech. Among other awards, the prize for the best communication was given to the company Mon Bus; the award of social commitment was delivered to to Entrem-hi; the Ethics and Enterprise award was given to Afable Social & Human Services; the Innovation award to Mamba Audio; and the award for best media company to Vía Empresa.
The event attracted more than three hundred participants, including the Minister of Enterprise and Employment, Felip Puig; the President of Job Development, Joaquim Gay Montellà, the mayor of Sant Pere de Ribes, Lluís Giralt; the Deputy Carles Campuzano and Xavier López, CEO of Social and Cooperative Economy and Self-Employment. The presidents of the regional councils of Alt Penedès and Garraf, the Mayors of Canyelles, Cubelles, Cunit, Sitges and Vilanova i la Geltrú and councilors of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and Vilafranca del Penedès were also present.
