Appointment of the R&D Director of FUTURECO BIOSCIENCE as new Chairwoman of IBMA-Spain

Publication of Completeness check decision of the ACTINOVATE SP dossier

 

The Official Journal of the European Union has adopted the implementing decision number 2011/253/EU recognising in principle the completeness of the dossier submitted for Streptomyces lydicus WYEC 108 and its formulation ACTINOVATE SP to the authorities of the Netherlands in 2010. (Download PDF)

FUTURECO BIOSCIENCE participates in the XV congress of the S.E.F.

 

The Spanish Society of Phytopathology (S.E.F.) organized from the 27th of September to the 1st of October its XV congress in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Euskadi - Spain).

 

FUTURECO BIOSCIENCE participated actively in the congress through an oral communication titled “Development of a microbiological based product for the control of nematodes” and with a poster entitled “In-vitro Effectiveness of a new Biofungicide based on spores of Streptomyces lydicus WYEC 108” where the biofungicide activity of ACTINOVATE® was tested on two fungi that affect the root system of the crops (Pythium ultimum and Fusarium oxysporum) and two fungi that affect the foliar system of plants (Alternaria porri and Botrytis aclada).

FUTURECO BIOSCIENCE starts registration process of a new biological fungicide: ACTINOVATE SP

The Research & Development department of FUTURECO BIOSCIENCE, S.L. completed the dossier for supporting inclusion in Annex I to directive 91/414/EC of the new biological control agent Streptomyces lydicus WYEC 108 in last September. This BCA is a beneficial bacterium belonging to Actinobacteria Phylum with recognized antimicrobial activity on a wide range of soil decay fungi and aerial pathogens. » more.
